When Can I Return To Normal Activity After Surgery?

There is usually no downtime for Earlobe Repair Surgery. You will be able to return to work or school, the same day after surgery. However, some patients tend to experience some soreness, redness, or some bruising. Things to avoid post surgery include:

Avoid exercise and heavy lifting for about 4 weeks.
Avoid submerging the corrected area in water for 4 to 6 weeks.

Can I Get My Ears Pierced Again After Surgery?

It is recommended that you wait 6 to 8 weeks post-op to ensure proper healing before your ears pierced. Also, it is important that you move your piercing and not get your ears pierced in the same spot as before. The tissue at the surgical site is not as strong as previously before.
