Johnny Davis, PA-C received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center while attending the Military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program. He served in the Air Force for 24 years and retired in February 2017.  As a Physician Assistant in the military he has worked in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Flight Medicine and has served in multiple overseas deployments.

He has turned his focus of medicine to Psychiatry.  He recognizes a great need for psychiatry in our community and enjoys treating people with Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD.  PA Davis has become very proficient at managing psychotropic medications in combination with other therapeutic modalities.  He believes the path to mental health and wellness is a multifactorial approach. He refers patients for counseling, CBT, and EMDR, and believes they play a key role in overall health and success of his patients.  PA Davis believes in the team approach and works very closely with Dr. Fry, the staff Psychiatrist at Flying Horse Medical Center.

He is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Psychiatry and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  He is Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.  PA Davis is married with 3 children and they enjoy the outdoors and playing sports. He has a passion for fitness and nutrition by optimizing health physically, psychologically, and emotionally.

PA Davis is currently accepting new patients over the age of 16 at the beautiful Flying Horse Medical Center.   PA Davis and Dr. Fry’s practice is cash based only, but will provide a super bill to the patients, so that they are able to be reimbursed by their insurances.
